How to water deeply to Tomato plant ?

  • Dig a hole on either side of where you’re going to plant a tomato. Do this before planting tomato.
  • Place a piece of perforated pipe about 16"-20" long in each hole. It doesn’t matter if it’s metal, corrugated, pvc, or whatever kind of tubing as long as there are holes in it.

  • Fill in the soil around the pipe, making sure the pipe does not get choked.
  • Transplant/plant your tomato in between the pipes. Now when you water, you pour into the pipes.
  • There you go, deep watered tomatoes.
